Yes — every Whole Foods Market store accepts EBT cards at checkout, no Prime membership needed. If you'd rather shop online, EBT also works on Amazon.com and through Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market delivery or pickup, and Amazon has confirmed Prime isn't required for that either.
The main thing to plan for online: service and delivery fees aren't covered by your EBT card, so you'll need another payment method on file for those.
What You Can Buy at Whole Foods Market With EBT
In store, EBT covers the same SNAP-eligible groceries you'd expect — produce, meat, dairy, bread, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks — and it works at both regular registers and self-checkout. Hot bar and prepared foods, alcohol, and non-food items aren't eligible, same as anywhere else.
Online, add your EBT card at amazon.com/snap and look for the "SNAP EBT eligible" label. Whole Foods Market pickup through Amazon is free at any order size; delivery carries a service fee (roughly $9.95 for Prime or Prime Access members, more for non-members) that has to be paid separately, since EBT can't cover fees or tips.
