Yes, every Trader Joe's store takes EBT cards, right alongside cash, debit, credit, and their own gift cards. There's no membership, no rewards card, and no sign-up needed — you just shop and pay like any other customer.
One thing to know: Trader Joe's doesn't offer online orders, delivery, or curbside pickup at all — not for anyone, EBT or not. If you want groceries from Trader Joe's, you'll need to shop in person.
What You Can Buy at Trader Joe's With EBT
Because Trader Joe's is a grocery store, most of what's on the shelves is SNAP-eligible: produce, meat, dairy, bread, snacks, frozen meals, and non-alcoholic drinks. As always, hot prepared foods, alcohol, vitamins and supplements, and non-food items like paper goods aren't covered by EBT.
Since Trader Joe's has no online store, there's no delivery-app workaround either — Trader Joe's states directly that it doesn't work with any third-party delivery service, including ones that support EBT elsewhere.
