Yes — every Aldi store in the U.S. takes EBT for SNAP purchases, whether you're checking out in person or ordering online for pickup or delivery. Aldi has built EBT payment into both its physical registers and its website/app, so there's no special line or separate process to worry about.
For online orders you'll need an Aldi.com account and a backup credit or debit card on file — EBT only covers the SNAP-eligible groceries in your cart, not tips, delivery fees, or other charges, so Aldi requires a second payment method to cover those.
What You Can Buy at Aldi With EBT
With your EBT card at Aldi you can buy the same things you'd buy at any grocery store: produce, meat, dairy, bread, frozen food, pantry staples, and snacks. What you can't buy is anything outside USDA's SNAP rules — alcohol (Aldi does sell wine and beer, but it's never EBT-eligible), hot prepared foods, vitamins and supplements, pet food, or household and personal-care items.
Online, Aldi's SNAP EBT option works for both pickup and delivery orders placed through the Aldi website or app; just add your EBT card under payment methods before checkout. In-store, EBT works at the regular checkout lanes the same way a debit card does.
