What You Can Buy at Costco With EBT
You can buy any SNAP-eligible food at Costco — fresh produce, meat, dairy, bread, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, even seeds and plants that grow food. What you can't buy with EBT: the famous rotisserie chicken and anything else from the hot food court, plus alcohol, vitamins and supplements, pet food, and household or paper products. If your cart has both eligible and non-eligible items, plan on two separate transactions — one paid with EBT, one with another payment method.
EBT only works inside the physical warehouse. Costco doesn't accept EBT for online orders at Costco.com or through Costco same-day delivery (powered by Instacart), so grocery trips need to happen in person.
