Yes, Target takes EBT/SNAP in every U.S. store and on Target.com, including pickup, delivery, and shipping in states where SNAP online purchasing is available. It's a straightforward, nationwide yes.
The one wrinkle: online, you'll need a backup payment method on file too, since EBT only covers SNAP-eligible items and your order total will likely include some things (fees, non-food items) that it can't pay for.
What You Can Buy at Target With EBT
In store, swipe your EBT card at any register, including self-checkout, and you'll get a prompt to apply your SNAP balance to eligible items before paying the rest another way. You can buy the usual SNAP-eligible groceries and food items; you can't use EBT for Target Plus (marketplace) purchases, non-food goods, or delivery/shipping fees.
Online, add your EBT card as a payment type in your Target account and it'll apply to SNAP-eligible items in your cart at checkout — a second card covers everything else, including tips and any Shipt delivery fees. Note that by federal rule, EBT can never be used to pay for a Shipt membership itself, only for eligible groceries once you're ordering.
